Designs for the new recreation center at the Elan at Desert Ridge apartment complex expand the concept of outdoor living spaces in an otherwise ordinary pool area by bringing traditional room layouts outside.  Three central living/social spaces occupy bays in a cabana, backdropping an expansive play/swim pool.

A more intimate space is associated with the spa/jacuzzi located on a lower level and backdrop by a waterfall. Another separate patio space allows for outdoor grilling and socializing.
