The renovation and re-branding of The Oakwood Apartments at Toluca Hills took place after AvalonBay Communities purchased the 1,100 unit, 200 acre development.  The complex, built in the 1980’s and being conveniently located near several major television and movie studios in the Burbank area, has a long history of housing entertainment celebrities.  The re-branding focused on the aspect of the property and the design team developed a theme to match.

The property amenities include two recreational facilities, each with its own pool, spa, and fitness center; tennis courts, a basketball court, dry cleaners, hair salon, convenience store, and rehearsal hall.  Each amenity area received a full facelift with updated colors and materials, completely new landscaping, lighting and furniture.  Additional amenities were added in the form of outdoor kitchens, fire pits and fire features, entertainment spaces, outdoor fitness, and a dog park.
